I began recording in London at the beginning of the 2000s, firstly at Bonafide Studio, mostly using session singers selected by the studio, with varying degrees of quality and suitability.
In 2004 I relocated to Berry Street Studio, run by Kevin Poree, who has since taken care of the majority of my recordings. Kevin has worked as a producer for more than 20 years, and was based at Berry Street Studio in London for most of that time.
My first Berry Street recording took place on 8th December 2005 with 17 year old Nicola Lelean, who I had found on a website called Pop Idol Talent Box a couple of years earlier. It was fitting that she should be the first to record for me at the studio there, as she has since proved to be invaluable in stepping in at short notice, either for lead or backing vocals, on various tracks.
Since Berry Street Studio (the Company) moved from its Berry Street location, the London sessions have taken place at a private studio in Marylebone.
